Job Title: Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
1. Implementing Individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Work directly with clients, under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), to implement behavior intervention protocols designed to address various goals outlined in the BIP.
2. Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately collect data on client progress during therapy sessions, using designated data collection methods. Analyze collected data to evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify strategies if necessary.
3. Behavior Management: Utilize positive reinforcement, prompting, and redirection techniques to manage challenging behaviors and promote independence and appropriate behavior.
4. Teaching Skills: Implement ABA-based teaching procedures to teach a wide range of skills, including social, communication, self-care, academic, and play skills, based on individualized treatment goals.
5. Parent and Caregiver Training: Collaborate with families or caregivers to provide training sessions on implementing behavior strategies consistently within the home environment.
6. Collaboration and Communication: Maintain open and professional communication with the BCBA, team members, and other stakeholders regarding client progress, challenges, and appropriate strategies.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and data sheets, adhering to company and regulatory requirements.
8. Professional Development: Attend regular team meetings, staff trainings, workshops, and conferences to update knowledge and skills in the field of ABA and related areas.
9. Adherence to Ethical Guidelines: Perform all job duties in accordance with the ethical guidelines outlined by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree or pursuing a degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Education, Special Education) preferred.
2. Valid RBT certification through the BACB.
3. Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related disorders is preferred.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) with clients, families, and team members.
5. Ability to follow through with assigned responsibilities and work effectively in a team as well as independently.
6. Willingness to receive feedback, supervision, and training as necessary.
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical guidelines.
8. Reliable transportation to travel to client homes, schools, or community settings within the assigned area.

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position, requiring flexible scheduling based on client needs and your availability (typically between 10-15 hours per week). Work may take place in a variety of settings, including client homes, schools, and community locations. Physical activities may include standing, sitting on the floor, running, lifting, and carrying objects.
