Job Description: Evening & Weekend Registered Behavior Technician - Part Time

The Evening & Weekend Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will work in a dynamic and supportive environment to provide evidence-based behavior therapy to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. This role requires availability to work during evening hours (after 5 PM) and on weekends, accommodating the schedules of clients and their families.

Responsibilities:
1. Implement individualized behavior therapy plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to promote skill development and address challenging behaviors.
2. Conduct data collection and analysis to monitor client progress and make data-driven treatment decisions.
3. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinics.
4. Embed behavior intervention strategies in naturalistic settings and encourage generalization of skills across different environments.
5. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including BCBA, parents/caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's treatment.
6. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including session notes and data collection sheets.
7. Participate in regular supervision meetings with the BCBA to discuss progress, ask questions, and receive feedback on performance.
8. Continuously stay updated on the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to enhance therapy effectiveness.

Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
2. Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or willing to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment.
3. Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral intervention techniques and experience implementing behavioral plans.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish a rapport with clients and their families.
6. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
7. Flexibility to work during evening hours (after 5 PM) and on weekends.
